Scout Network is the fifth and final section of the Scouting movement, and is for young people ages 18 - 25. Due to people of this age range possibly being away at uni, leaders at other groups etc, Network is a less formal ran section in comparison with the others. We do not have a standard meeting night once a week, instead we try to arrange activities and events on a monthly basis, whether this be a BBQ on the beach or a international camp.

Due to the majority of Network members in Blyth Valley also holding commitments at groups as sectional leaders or assistants, the main focus of network is based around being able to do the Duke of Edinburgh award scheme as well as the Chief Scout, and Queen Scout awards. You don't have to be a leader in Blyth Valley, or anywhere else for that matter. Anyone can join network, to take part in activities such as DofE, Gangshow, Operation Twilight and more.

To join you will need to fill in a simple form to register (this also is a CRB disclosure) download it here ( or get in touch.
