Sites 1-8: Each surrounded by trees and individually bookable or as part of a site sole use booking. Each is approx. 100m2 in size.
Selby Wood is an ideal place for Patrol camping. You can book up to 8 individual sites approx 100m2 in size. Each site is surrounded by trees giving it a secluded feel and accessed via a central pathway which winds its’ way up through the sites.
A double sized site (Known as 56) divides the individual sites into two groups of four, it can be used as a base for Leaders, for central cooking or as a small activity site.
Fire bays and grilles are provided for open fire cooking, see the campsite rules for operation. A wood pile is usually kept stocked but check before your arrival date.
The site has over 900 trees. These trees form part of a Woodland Scheme jointly managed by the farmers and the Forestry Commission.
